MEDIATOR APPLICATION FOR NEW ORLEANS FAMILY COURT MEDIATION PROGRAM

Interested in Becoming a Family Mediator in Orleans Parish?

The Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans has created a new family mediation program for disputes pertaining to custody and visitation disputes. Under the program, contested custody and visitation disputes will be ordered to qualified family mediators who are listed on the court referred list. All contested custody and visitation cases are eligible for mediation except for certain cases that are not appropriate for mediation such as cases where there are allegations of domestic violence.
